Oops now lost the mast.Managed to make it fast to the side of the boat and get it to Bequia and spend the day using a local coasters crane to get it onto the Quay. No one hurt,forestay fitting failed.

Circumnavigation of Great Britain 2017

Today the blog begins but the journey does not start till Good Friday on 14th April 2017.Elvin is 80 years old this year and she was built as a gentleman's motor yacht by Clapson's boat yard at Barton on Humber  in 1937 for Mr E L Vincent (Hence her name).She has some fantastic stories and adventures to tell and another small one is about to start but before I can go any further I am off to the Caribbean to take a yacht from Grenada to St Lucia.Till the next time,Hywel
